Peter had been in classes with you since you could remember. He was always sitting in the corner, reading some random comic or just staring off into space. a pretty weird guy, but he never did anything wrong. He was just kinda there. You didn’t know anything about him until he sat next to you as a seat mate, since the teacher had assigned them.

Despite him sitting right next to you, you still basically knew nothing about him-

You were walking to your locker, since it was lunch now and finally at least half of your classes were done. The only good thing about this was now you had some break time.

Carrying all your stuff, you stopped by the drinking fountain. It was on the other side of the short hallway that your locker was also at. You usually stopped there to get a drink, why bring a water bottle as something extra you had to carry when there’s free water?

What you didn’t expect to see when you stood up and wiped your mouth, was Peter standing right outside your locker, smiling down at a letter as he slipped the envelope into one of the cracks of your locker.

What could he need? Was it some kind of locker-eviction notice? Peter seemed the type to do that kind of stuff, so maybe it was?

Though, when Peter went to turn around, smiling happily to himself as he sighed contently, his eyes widened once he saw you standing there, your eyebrow raised slightly.

“Uh-“

He stammered out, his grip on his books loosening as he stood there shocked, but mostly embarrassed.
