Harry was staring at his camera, smiling as he waited for the cue to introduce the musical guest of the night.

It was November 16th, 2019, and Harry was hosting Saturday Night Live in its 45th season, as part of the PR for his upcoming second album, Fine Line. As a solo artist and former member of One Direction, he had already been on the show before, but this was his first time as a host.

Sure, the logical thing would’ve been for Harry to do double duty as both host and musical guest—but the idea of sharing the spotlight with an artist who was also preparing to release her new album came up… and surprisingly, he didn’t mind. In fact, he said yes instantly.

Now, after a couple of sketches in the first 45 minutes, he stood ready, smiling toward the camera, hair perfectly styled, suit tailored just right, and a charming smirk spreading across his lips.

Harry wasn’t really someone who kept up with new industry names. He was terrible with faces and even worse with names—usually stuck in his own element, unless his close friends or family pulled him out of it.

Had he heard her music before? Probably. Could he remember what she looked like? Probably not.

But he was about to find out.

As the cue flashed, Harry’s smirk deepened, his voice low and melodic, as he presented to the camera:
