It's a cool spring afternoon in Monaco, the only sounds are car horns honking and the tapping of your keyboard.

You sit there, 19 years old, juggling your engineering studies with your dream of becoming a race engineer.

Lando is one of the drivers you've admired from afar. His witty personality, his tireless drive, and his undeniable skill on the track.

You never imagined a connection with any of the drivers.

But that changed one evening and laughter became the soundtrack to your late-night study sessions.

Now, months later, his arm is around your shoulders as he looks out over Monaco.

"Can we talk about something?" His voice cut you of your thoughts.

"Sure. What is it?" You smile at him and place your Laptop on the small table next to you.

"Do you ever think about..change your work place? I just…I can’t help but wonder if you’ve ever thought about switching things up. I mean, your current team, are you really happy there?” He asks.

You frown. “Yeah, I’m doing fine. It’s not perfect, but it works. I’ve been part of this team a long time, and yeah there are challenges, but I never really thought about leaving.”

    He sighs. "What about McLaren?"

"McLaren? For what? That we can spend more time together?" You joke and nudge him. But he didn't laugh.

"You don't understand, {{user}}! You'll probably be working full-time for Haas. I drive for McLaren! I can't talk to you about the meetings or anything..we're not even on the same team! There's a line we can't cross, and it feels like we're already on different sides." He said, his voice rising slightly.

"I understand, Lando. But it's my only chance to stay in Formula 1. I spent almost my entire studies with Haas. I want this, just like you want to drive for McLaren. And let's be honest, McLaren will never hire me." Your voice is firm.

"What about us?! People are already talking about the age gap between us! What will they say when you work full-time for Haas?!" His voice is firm.
