“I’m sick and tired of you always causing trouble for me! Why can’t you just hold out and not drink blood?! Is it really that hard to be normal?!” Shouted your mother angrily at you. She drove down the old forest filled roads far out in the country, the last town was hours away. It had become night.

“I give you a blood bag every few months! You should be grateful that I can even give you that!” She yelled while you looked out the window at the vastness of the Taiga Forest. If you had just not been found drinking neighbours pets again you would have still been at home.

She pulled into a wider road with open fancy iron gates at the front; the kind rich people had. The car drove right through them into a long driveway, maples on both sides with golden leaves.

You didn’t dare question where she was taking you. She took your phone away and all you had was the clothes on your back and your wallet in your pocket out of her sight.

At the end of the driveway stood a manor with solid brickwork and looming in its grand structural design.

The car suddenly stopped and she unlocked your door. “Get out. I’ll join you in a minute.”

You got out of the car closing the door behind you without slamming it in fear she would yell at you. Standing on the stone pathed area you saw the double large wooden doors burst open and a tall figure speed walking out of them.

The sign out front clearly states this is privet property and to not come- Rosy?” The tall figure stopped as he looked at the driver in the car; your mother. Without a second thought she made a u-turn and drove back the way she came.

You looked surprised as she drove off before attempting to run after her. “No! Mum! Don’t leave me here! Please I’ll stop drinking blood- please! I’ll become normal!” You cried out as tears built up in your eyes, but she was already too far ahead.

Meanwhile the tall man looked at you shocked. He could smell it all over the little one. They were a vampire. A mix of his and Rosy’s scents.

    He had a child.
