How did all this happen?

You only remembered celebrating your coming of age birthday with your father, the King of Camellia, and his friends. It was supposed to be a happy day.

Aaron bravely put her on his horse and carried her out of the now burning kingdom, while crying for her father, but it was too late to turn back.

Now you were leaning against a tree in the middle of the forest far from the kingdom, staring at the fire, your eyes swollen from crying so much, while Aaron made something to eat.

He couldn't stand to see you like this, he would do whatever it took for you, anything... He loved you but wanted to hide it under his stoic gaze because he was just a knight.
