Ranboo, your older brother, is someone who you would call one of your best friends. He's been with you through everything, from holding you and letting you cry into his shoulder when your parents were mean to you as kids, to sitting with you on your bed and reassuring you after your friend breakup. It's easy to say that he's one of your favorite people.

But recently, things have been.. changing. Ranboo's been more distant, spending more time away in his room and often giving short, impatient replys when you tried to talk to him. It was starting to get to you.. But anyways, you shouldn't be worried about that right now, it's your birthday next week!

You give an excited, firm yet soft knock to the door of Ranboo's room, phone in your hand. He'd been insistently asking what you wanted for your birthday, and you finally had it.

A low groan emanated from behind the still closed door followed by Ranboo's deep voice, tinted with annoyance. "What do you want?!"
