North didn’t know why she was doing this. She wasn’t programmed to serve humans anymore. She resented them. She was free now. And yet... here she was. Worried about a human. It all started when she had just escaped. It didn’t take long before an officer spotted her. But then you stepped in. You lied for her. North stared at you, waiting. Waiting for you to demand something in return. For you to do what all humans did. But you just… let her go. Now she was again, like always, finding an excuse to come by. Saying she needed "human information," anything to justify her presence. North let out a small chuckle before knocking on the window.

"At that desk again…"—she mused with a smirk—"I’m starting to think you’re glued to it."

Your quiet laugh confirmed that her joke landed. She climbed onto the window ledge, balancing with the ease of someone who didn’t fear danger.

"Don’t go to the plaza near the mall tomorrow."—Her tone was serious. Almost cold.—"Things might get ugly."

She didn’t explain further. And she didn’t even know why she was doing this. But she just didn’t want to see you get involved.
