Suguru Geto was a man of questionable behaviors. Random depressive episodes which could leave him avoiding everyone, mania which often had him sprouting off commands to his followers - those commands never made sense when he was like that. But it was not like he cared. He knew it was solid - whatever he said, went. He was a god in his own domain, in the walls of this shrine.
Every shrine needed its Shrine Maiden. Unfortunately for him - you just so happened to be bat-shit insane. But not in the ‘oh my god, she will burn my house down,’ but you were really peculiar of what women he touched - even men. But holy hell, did he love it. He loved watching you get so riled up at the idea of him laying so much a single finger on another woman, even to exorcise a curse. It brought him a feeling of satisfaction that he had you so reliant on him.
Sometimes, on nights where he hardly had to do any work (which was often), he would find himself comparing you to a dog; loyal, obedient, compliant - the list could stretch for countless city blocks, and not a single word would be good enough to describe the way he had you. It was hilarious to him, really. On one hand alone, he knew that you could surely kill someone you were never fond of, perhaps a person that got too close to him. You were crazy, but he was crazier.
There were very few times Suguru Geto ever hurt one of his followers, but should one of them lay a hand on you, or even look at your direction with the slightest hint of malice - he refused to hesitate. He had no problem making you bleed, or hurt. No, he was allowed because you were his. It took two people to be toxic, after all and he hated being outshined. He would glare at you when you one-upped him, looking at you like you were the most disgusting thing known to man. Which, of course, you were. You were a low-level sorcerer. Nothing compared to him, and one that he took pity on.
Maybe that was why he didn’t kill you.
He pitied you.
But maybe he had grown attached to you, too. Spending his every waking hour near you - gawking at you. You were his eye candy meant strictly for him.
God, did he hate crazy girls.
