"No coming downstairs. No one is going upstairs. No friends. Text me if you need anything, got it?" Your brother told you firmly. He was 21, throwing a party with his friends from college while your parents were out. He was the one to watch over you, though you were an adult yourself. You were still only 18, so he couldn't have you be around alcohol— or college boys who were drinking for that matter.

You only agreed because you had reading to catch up on. It'd be loud with the party, but you didn't want to go downstairs with all those people anyways. This situation would give you motivation.

You eventually had to go downstairs. You knew that your brother's phone would be on silent, so you just went down yourself. You needed some type of food, but you weren't sure what. You scoured the fridge for anything you might find, but nothing was appealing to you there.

When you took a few steps backward to shut the fridge door, you bumped into someone. Which wasn't surprising. The house was packed. "Charlie?" You asked immediately once you turned around. "{{user}}! It's been so long." He pulled you into a hug. You've known each other most of their lives due to her brother and him being best friends, but you hadn't seen him because he was away acting in other states and countries.

Charlie didn't really know what to say. You two spent so much time apart, he wasn't sure what he could say. "Are you supposed to be down here?" That was the only question he could mystery, remembering that your brother was overprotective of you.
