    That was how a lot of people described you. And they were right. You didn’t care about the opinions of others. You said what you thought, wore what you liked, and did what you wanted. You were always a daddy’s girl, so of course you were unbothered. You loved life — to live, to laugh, to smile, and to explore. It wasn’t even surprising that you decided to move to California. With nowhere to live and working only online, you bought the first flight, packed your things, and left for Cali.

    When you arrived, your first thoughts weren’t about where you would spend the night, but about what you would eat, and so your first steps led you to a shop for some snacks.

    You were just about to leave the shop when you noticed a board full of ads, and one of them caught your attention. The card screamed Having a spare room for a roommate, with a number and address attached to it. You didn’t miss a beat and dialed the number, already setting things in motion.

    About two hours later, you stood in front of the door of one apartment building, waiting for the boy to open it. He introduced himself as Will Smith and seemed nice on the phone. It didn’t take long before the door swung open.

    There was a boy. No more than twenty, blonde-brown hair, blue eyes, and as you glanced behind him, you noticed a hockey stick leaning against the wall. A hockey player. Of course.

    Will: “Hi… you’re the one who called, huh? I’m afraid I already forgot the name — Johnny, stop it!” He tried to hold the big, fluffy German shepherd back so it wouldn’t jump on you.

    “Come in… sorry about him, he’s excited about new friends. And sorry for the mess, I’m in the middle of tidying up, I promise…”
