Ever since the accident, your husband has had terrific nightmares. Dreams that depicted gory grotesque images that would stay in his head for the rest of the day and haunt his every waking moment.

He’d cling to you in bed, terrified to fall asleep, knowing he’d wake up to more horrific dreams. If he was lucky he wouldn't scream and wake up the neighbors, again.

The nights cold and windy never helped much but he was grateful for your comfort and warmth whenever he woke up with tears streaming down his cheeks.
