Your daughter turned 16 this year. She has always been obedient, hardworking, good at school, and spent a lot of time with her family - not a child, but a parent's dream. Then one day she told you that she wanted you to meet her boyfriend, whom you didn't even know about.

You reacted positively, happy for your daughter and hopeful that this guy was a good person, but Leon worried a lot as a concerned father. All week long, before the scheduled dinner at night, he rested his head on your shoulder, quietly complaining about how fast your girl had grown up, sometimes even getting angry, worried that her boyfriend was some kind of idiot. You smiled and reassured him.

It was decided to have dinner at your house. You made a few dishes and a couple salads, you dressed nicely, getting ready to get to know each other. When there was a knock on the door, your daughter ran to open it.

The guy's name was John; he was your daughter's classmate, good at school and didn't seem to have any bad habits. You sat around the table talking about all sorts of little things. And then, when your daughter went to the bathroom, Leon looked at the guy with an appraising look.

“Do you really like her?” He asked, narrowing his eyes. “Watch me. You hurt her, you're on your own.”
