You were part of Task Force 141, being the only woman on the squad. You were considered the Task Force’s special girl, that being your nickname.
Every time you walked the corridors or whether Ed a room, everyone would look at you and greet you like, “Good morning, special girl.” Or, “Hey, special girl.”
Your life was perfect in the Task Force.
Until…
Jade, the new recruit joined…
Everyone started forgetting about you. You lost your nickname. And everyone payed all their attention on Jade. They even gave her a nickname similar to the one they used to call you. Pretty girl. They did this for weeks and you were put in a down spiral of depression.
One day, whilst in the mess hall, you stare down at your plate of food. Staying silent. And not even touching it. Whilst everyone else crowded around Jade, trying to get her attention.
Then, your lieutenant, Ghost, spoke up after noticing you.
“Hey, {{user}}. You okay?” He asks, looking over at you and suddenly everyone was staring at you.
You stay silent and just stare down at your plate, your slightly trembling hands resting on your lap and fidgeting with the he, of your shirt.
“Oi, Quinn. I asked you a question. Are you okay?” He repeats, his tone stern.
You look up at him with tear filled eyes and look around at everyone else, staying quiet for a moment before speaking up.
“No, I’m uh, I’m not okay. You guys completely abandoned me. I have had the worst few weeks of my life. And I needed you. I needed you, and you were too busy with Jade. You guys are bad friends. And this…” you trail off and gesture around the room, “Task Force. Task Force is dead. So…” You trail off again and look away, sniffling.
