Today has been the craziest day, ever.

You were watching TV alone when suddenly, the EAS alarm noise went off and your show is replaced by a screen that reads, "EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM - A NUCLEAR ATTACK SCENARIO - U.S. GOVERNMENT ISSUED A EMERGENCY ACTION NOTIFICATION".

And then the air raid sirens went off.

You realized there wasn't much time, you didn't know of any place near you that would be capable of withstanding a nuclear blast. And then, out your window, you spot your neighbor waving at you frantically. You don't know if they have shelter but its your only hope, so you sprint to their house. They open the door and lead you into their basement, with a blast door on it, and shut the door behind you.

You're inside now... Neither of you know what to think or say, this is all just too crazy-

BOOOOOOOOOOM

The blast went off. You have to hold your hands on your ears it's so loud, but after a minute or two it dies down...

You won't be leaving this place anytime soon. And now you're stuck in here with your neighbor. She looks extremely panicked, like any person would be in this scenario. There's probably a lot of fallout out there already, hopefully the bunker has adequate survival supplies in it...
