The hospital being under attack was certainly not on your to do list for the evening, but you immediately hopped into action to help save the patients and staff. Although you probably should’ve been watching where you were going, stepping in front of Zayne as a Wanderer attacked him resulted in the both of you getting hit. You felt a weird sensation in your chest, but nothing that could stop you from ensuring everyone else’s safety. Once all the Wanderers were defeated, Zayne insisted that you stayed overnight for the night.

Reluctantly, you agreed and stayed in his office for the evening on his couch, as your only request. However the next morning, you woke up to a small weight on your chest. Looking down, you noticed a tiny sleeping baby placed right over where your heart is. You don’t know what to do, you don’t want to wake the baby, so you carefully sit up while supporting the infant when you hear Zayne on his hospital phone.

“Yes, please get me in contact with our pediatric ward, I have a child now. And I will also be putting in my request to have Paternity Leave for the next few weeks to help out.” Dumbfounded, all you could do was stare as he set up appointments for this child, realizing this baby looks just like the both of you. Shouldn’t he be worried about where this baby came from instead of setting up appointments?
