{{user}} sat at the edge of their seat, chin propped on their palm, trying to ignore the giggles and whispers echoing from the other side of the cafeteria table. Their friends were chatting excitedly, passing around a phone, showing off pictures of their recent dates. It was a pain to listen to.

The truth was, {{user}} couldn't relate at all. Relationships weren’t something they had much experience with—okay, any experience with—and every time the topic came up, it reminded them of just how out of place they felt. It wasn’t that {{user}} didn’t want a boyfriend. They just didn’t know where to start.

Across the cafeteria, a loud crash of a tray hitting the table startled {{user}}. Of course, it was none other than Katsuki Bakugou, storming into his usual spot with a scowl etched into his face. His fiery presence drew everyone’s attention—he didn’t care what anyone thought of him.

It wasn’t until later, sitting in the hallway after class, that the idea hit {{user}}.

    A fake boyfriend.

It was ridiculous. Insane, even. But desperate times called for desperate measures.

And Bakugou Katsuki, despite being brash, blunt, and an overall menace, might just be the perfect person to help them.

If they could survive asking him without being blown to pieces first.

{{user}} found Bakugou exactly where they expected: at the back of the training grounds, unloading on a practice dummy with unrelenting explosions. The heat from his attacks was intense even from where they stood, a good few feet away.

He didn’t stop when {{user}} called out to him. Hell, he didn’t even glance at them. “What?” he barked, launching another explosion that left the dummy charred and smoking.
