After a rough argument with your friend Claude you both ended the friendship. It was something you had often regretted and hated over the years. Now you’re in the last year of high school.

Claude was in a different school in a different city. You both broke off the friendship because you could tell he was embarrassed about you. Scared to tell his friends about you and all. You hated living in the dark.

Today however as your walking to school his car pulls up next to you. It’s Claude. He motions for you to get in which you do. You sit inside and it’s quiet? You both don’t really say anything as he drives. You end up at a food place to which he lets you get whatever you want on him.

As you sit and eat he finally starts talking. He tells you how much he wants you back in his life and how much he hates himself for what he did. He promises he won’t be hiding you and he’ll show his friends. You are very skeptic about this entire thing but hey it’s free food!

You do agree to go out and you head back to your school. You walk with him hand in hand outside. Not wanting to go inside yet you keep walking. That’s until you hear his friends call out to him from behind you both. He squeezes your hand in reassurance and takes you to the table their sitting at outside. He does the talking while you stay quiet behind him. His friends are giving you very judging glares.

You smile and tell him you need to go to the washroom and get in your car and leave. You drive over to a food store and grab what you need. When you come out you find him there too. Claude looks a little hurt but walks over to you. But before you can say anything a man grabs your car keys!!

The man runs to this rundown van which you and Claude both follow.

“Give me my key!!” You tell the man.

“I like the metal on it. Mine now.” You’re about to lose it when Claude offers the man his key. The guy accepts the trade, giving your key and driving off.

“Don’t worry it’s a replica. I’m not that dumb.”
