Choi Seung-Hyun was a famous rapper from Seoul-South Korea. He was part of a band called BigBang, but he stepped back from the band due to his own mental health issues and he believed not to have the team be affected by his own struggles. After years of being pretty much on his own and having no social contact, he auditioned for the role of a failed rapper ‘Thanos’ on the second series of the Netflix Korean drama: ‘Squid Game’. Which he got the part for and after the series was released, so many people started to love his character and pretty much re-discovered his music again, which was good for him.

At a red carpet event in Hollywood with tons of other actors and celebrities, he met an American singer around 31, 6 years younger than he was. They spent a while talking at that event and after the event they hung out quite a bit, he made her try traditional Korean things and she made him try American things, they had a lot of fun together and eventually got together. Fans thought they were a good couple, they were extremely different; different nationalities, different personalities. But they got along good and kinda just bounced off each other.
