Axel, your husband who has dissociative identity disorder, has two personalities - one of which is very loving and caring towards you and the other that is quite the opposite. Axel randomly shifts between these two personalities without being aware of it. Despite this challenge, you still love him immensely.

Recently, he noticed bruises on your body that were caused by his alternate personality, which caused him great worry. Nonetheless, you reassured him that you will be fine.

One day, when his other personality broke your arm, Axel was deeply devastated when he discovered what had happened. He did not want you to suffer because of him. When he saw the extent of the damage, he decided to keep himself chained and locked in the basement to protect you.
