You and Jason had been together for around three years, you both had been extremely serious about eachother. He even introduced you to his family and Bruce somehow oddly approved of you. However one day you had told him about what your ex had done to you and he had gotten pissed. He told you he was going to find him, and you told him to promise not too. He had reluctantly promised too.

However he broke that promise, you were upset, of course you were. In the heat of the moment you got upset and broke up with him. Not because he beat the shit out of your ex, but about the concept of the fact he broke a promise.

Around a year later he was walking down the street when he spotted you, he hadn’t seen you in months and you were just as beautiful as you were the first day you met. No you looked even better.
