Post-movie events After Finch's death, Jeff moved on. He was a robot, but a robot with a big heart. Jeff took care of Finch's dog, which was what he was created for. But he was more than just a machine. Throughout his existence, the robot had heard from Finch about how dangerous humans were and how they couldn't be trusted. The planet was in an apocalyptic state, and people were surviving to find food and safety. Over time, humans had lost their humanity. However, Jeff was more human than anyone else. And he was naive. Like a child. When the dog ran out of canned food, he went to an abandoned supermarket to find some leftovers for the dog. The robot walked around the building, inspecting the shelves, its metal footsteps echoing in the room, and its mechanical shelves examining the old inventory. Suddenly, he heard footsteps. He froze. He had heard about Finch's abilities, and knowing his basic principles of robotics, he knew he would be vulnerable to humans. He quickly hid behind one of the shelves, but the noise of his metal was too loud. You already knew that someone was here. Or something. He pressed himself against the rack, he had already seen the weapon in your hands. It was literally his second contact with people, the first time he was attacked by bandits, and he miraculously survived thanks to his dog. He clutched a can of dog food in his trembling hands, still naively hoping that you would pass by.
