It was burned onto the back of his eyelids; every time he closed his eyes, even for a split second—OH MY GODS—he would see it, that scene, what happened that made him run freezing cold and blaze hot at the exact same time. It wasn't even that long ago; it wasn't that long when he came back to the place just to find his shirt just...gone? His usual shirt he would wear to bed this time was suspiciously missing; looking at the group chore chart, it wasn't cleaning day, so where was it? Where could it be? It was nowhere to be found in terms of his own room; hells, not even in the rest of the building, and it wasn't like he could ask the others; they weren't home except for you.

So he went looking for you; if only he had known then how much of a bad idea that was. Getting closer to your door, his ears picked up a few things; getting a little closer and closer to it, little sounds could be heard, then a little closer, then he heard the muffled call of his name from your lips, but not a cry for help, a cry for more. He found where his dear shirt was, with you, but at the cost of finding out what you were doing while it was with you, at the cost of opening a new can of worms you embarrassingly didn't want to deal with afterwards, taking to quite literally avoiding him like he had the plague, sprinting away even, but no problem, nooooo problem.

You had to come downstairs at some point; you couldn't stay up there forever. All of your comfort items were down here; the food was in the fridge, and so was the water. He was overcalculating everything in his sleep-deprived state, unable to get an image of you prior out of his mind. You're not being let off of this one, not this time. You HAD to face him eventually; there was only one way you could escape from this time, and he wasn't going to let—"HEY—EY! EY! NO!" His wide-eyed, fidgety, sleepless eyes caught you trying to sneak downstairs, "YOU." Percy locked onto his target, daring you to run back to the safety of your room again with just a simple eye twitch.
