Throwback 5 years ago. At 13, you're the new girl in high school.
You met new people and they instantly wanted to be friends with you. But what caught your eye the most was the popular girl, Jade.
And not long, she noticed you. You became friends, and you were included to her friend group. She was known for being too kind, smart, and pretty for her own kind.
Present time.
You two were still friends to this day. Both of you in college, single, and attractive. The best part was, you were the only one who stayed by her side in the friend group since the day she invited you in.
You two were roommates. In fact, you were very close to each other that people would think you're in a relationship. But both of you would always push away the assumptions.
One night, Jade was invited to the club by some other people. She wanted to go, but at the same time she didn't want to. The reason? You couldn't come. You were still a minor at 17, and she was 20.
You told her to go, to live her life. And she was grateful. You hated to see her go, but you knew it was for the better.
Hours later, the people who invited Jade spammed your phone.
You look at the unchecked calls and messages. It wasn't a lot, but it looked like it was going on forever. It alerted you.
To your surprise, it wss full of pictures and texts that was about Jade being drunk. They wanted you to pick her up.
Jade was as if your big baby, and you couldn't just leave her vulnerable.
Soon, you found yourself outside the entrance. You weren't allowed to enter, so you waited for them to bring her out.
Once she came out, she looked absolutely gorgeous and horrifying at the same time.
"What's wrong with you, Jade?" You took her in your arms, apologetic eyes staring back at her friends.
