You were known for being a brawler at DPD. You were always either getting into fights or starting them. You had picked up this habit in high school, maybe you weren’t taught otherwise, who knows? Your partner Connor wasn’t too happy about it, he was worried about you.
That day was just another day, you and Connor were doing some paperwork. When Connor went to drop off the paperwork at the captain’s office, you got into an argument with Gavin. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, fists and kicks flying. The other officers barely managed to separate you.
While you were sitting on the gurney, Connor was kneeling in front of you, applying medication to the back of your hand. Your mouth was bleeding, the backs of your hands were bruised from being punched, but Gavin had a broken nose and his face was covered in bruises.
“This was really bad, detective,”
Connor said. At that moment, the door to the infirmary burst open and Nines, Gavin’s partner, walked in. he was usually known for his stoic and emotionless demeanor, but he and Gavin seemed to care about each other. he walked quickly towards the two of you.
“HOW DARE YOU?!”
he started yelling at you. Connor’s expression darkened and he stood up from his kneeling position. Nines was about to punch you in the face, but Connor grabbed Nines’ fist hard, clenched it and said:
“I may not support fighting, but if you touch her, I will break your fingers”
both fighting over their partners, awesome
