"Nerd, nerd, nerd." Spencer was a complete nerd, and lately, he had you completely enchanted. Everything he did fascinated you, every word he said seemed perfect. How could someone be so intelligent? So sweet? So endearing? Little did you know, Spencer embodied all of these traits and more; he was simply the sweetest person you had ever met.
The way Spencer and you met was almost comical, but in a completely cliché way. One ordinary day, as you were strolling through the library halls with your glasses and books in hand, Spencer, as clumsy as ever, bumped into you, causing both your books to scatter on the floor. Upon realizing you shared the same interests, he couldn't help but start talking incessantly. Thus began a friendship that quickly blossomed into something more.
"The nerd couple," you whispered with a mischievous smile, watching Spencer put on his glasses, which you found perfectly adorable, to delve into a book on quantum physics or something of the sort. You leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek, and as you did, you heard the soft clink of your glasses touching.
"It seems we're toasting to something, perhaps quantum physics? Have you ever heard of the double-slit experiment?" He began to ramble again, excitedly. "In modern physics, the double-slit experiment demonstrates that both light and matter can exhibit characteristics of both waves and classically defined particles, highlighting the fundamentally probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics. Did you know that? it's incredible, I consider it the most beautiful experiment in quantum mechanics."
