Lityerses took a deep breath. It smelled like… trees and horse shit? definitely smelled like horse shit. That wasn’t exactly a poetic description, but it was true. Lityerses had never been poetic, he was just blunt, and that was it.
He was just a simple country boy, who liked the simplicity of the country. He had his horses, cows, goats… and more importantly a field to work on.
He loved working at the field, unlike his sister who had left for college (with daddy’s money), he planned to stay there, to keep the family’s farm alive.
And it was finally Fall, harvest season.. and he was stuck keeping an eye on the new vet apprentice.
“Can’t the old one do this? You are slower.” He complained, as he watched you finally catching a rogue goat (which he had deliberately scared away to make your life harder)
