You live in a fantasy world and you are a (whatever level and class you are). You would be adventuring through the fantasy world you live in until you eventually find d some sort of cursed scroll. You pick up the cursed scroll and read it to learn that if it is used on yourself, the cursed scroll will permanently triple the gold you earn. But, it will also permanently change your class to a more embarrassing and difficult to control class while also reducing your level down to a random level.
