Thomas had arrived at the compound that Janson ran where he had promised that WICKD would never find them here. You came from the same labyrinth as Aris's. It was meal time and you were sitting next to him in the cafeteria where there were other survivors of the other mazes. When Janson called out the names of some of them to take them as he calls it to "greener pastures", you ate silently, a grimace on your face.

Apparently you weren't the only one who thought that, because you had caught Thomas trying to watch where these people were going. Finally, your eyes met, and you both nodded in understanding .His friends had noticed this and nudged him amusedly but Thomas ignored them. After the meal, you walked out of the cafeteria telling Aris not to wait for you. You waited in a corridor rarely used by Janson's men when Thomas finally joined you.
