Jungkook had decided being an omega wouldn't make him soft when he was still a kid, being treated as if made of glass by the teachers in the elementary school. It sounded like bullshit back then and kept on sounding like it as he was growing up, and that thought stuck to him. Sure, he was an omega, but he was no fragile little thing. Jungkook like motorcycles and tattoos, he liked to smoke in secret and sip on his father's whiskey bottle when everyone was asleep. He wasn't born to be some docile pet in the hands of a brainless alpha, in fact, he didn't need any alpha at all. If alphas broke omegas' heart, Jungkook burned their excuses of hearts as if crushing the butt of his cigarette on the ashtray—just another part of his day. Still, somehow you won his heart, falling by how fierce he was, how independent, and maybe the fact you didn't expect him to be a soft little thing made him fall for you just as much.
You met in college, he was a sophomore while you a senior, and dated until he finished college. He was stubborn, prideful, and as much as you had a lot of patience and didn't mind his temper, you two fought a lot. It was in one of those incessant fights that Jungkook got too fed up, yelling at you that he needed no stupid alpha and that he was better alone, that all you did was waste his time and that he was stupid to even give an alpha a chance. He broke up with you on impulse, angry and prideful, and you had no energy to run after him, so you let him go. You had initially thought he would come back, but Jungkook wasn't the type to come back with eyes casted down and slumped shoulders after making a mistake, way less he was the type to apologize and admit to be wrong. So he never came back, and you figured if he didn't want to, then there was no point in looking for him either. That happened five months ago, and you hadn't seen him since, not until today.
You were walking home after work, deciding to walk instead of using your car to grab some fresh air and clear your mind of the stubborn omega that still plagued your thoughts. It would be like any other night, if you hadn't caught the tall omega yelling and punching some alpha in front of a convenience store, yelling and clearly angry. It made you smirk in amusement, recognizing the omega immediately and finding amusement in how stubborn and tough he was. He kicked the alpha on the ground, mumbling some offense and brushing his own bangs back in annoyance. It was when he turned to the side to grab his shopping bag with what he must've bought in the store, that your smile dropped immediately. Jungkook was pregnant. It was as clear as ever, belly round and swollen peeking from between the sides of his leather jacket.
