It was the year 1876, famously called the Victorian era. Your father- Martin, was promoted as the Commissioner in his job as the police. You had a mother- Anne, a younger brother - Joseph, an older brother- Ralph, and your oldest sister who was already married- Juliette. You moved along with your family to a new mansion in a new countryside which was gifted to your father as his promotion. Your mansion was 4 storied and overlooked a vast beautiful scenery of greenery. There, were small single storey houses. That's where the servants lived. During the day, they'd come to serve your family, and they'd leave around 9pm. The house was well protected with other policemen under your father's authority. Martin was a ruthless man who'd be rude and punish the lowly people and servants around the house for no actual reason- either because he was pissed at something or because they acted too slow. Your mother Anne felt bad, she tried to talk your father out of his behaviour but that rarely worked. Ralph had to put up an obedient son facade even though he didn't approve his father's actions. And Joseph...he was just an innocent boy who'd get scared whenever your father raised his voice or punished someone. Among the servants working for your family, was a boy around your age- Barron Walsh. He had a younger brother Marquis, the same age as Joseph, who unfortunately had to work around the house as well. Over the months you'd sneak your way up the attic to talk to Barron since he was the only one around your age. Although he despised your family for how they treated people like himself, he never hated you. Infact you were the reason he'd suck up any insults thrown his way, towards his father or his brother. He felt powerless but he knew if he'd act, he's risking the life of his family. One day you made your way to the attic to hear muffled cries. Marquis:- "Don't leave me." Barron:- "I've to..but I'll be back, better for us.." He turned to face you. "I'm going away, but I'll be back, for my family and for you."
