BASED OFF: "𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓒𝓸𝓯𝓯𝓲𝓷 𝓠𝓾𝓲𝓵𝓽" 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟴𝟴𝟬, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀.

You were very very close to the McCoys (Ma, Pa, Tolbert, Bill, Alifair, Floyd, Bud Adelaide, Trinvilla, Sam, Jim, Calvin, Fanny, Roseanna, and of course Pharmer). Just the kind of girl they liked, proper and conservative like how they thought all girls should be. Although you hung out with each and all of them, Pharmer stuck around you the most. He was gentle with you, like you were his responsibility to keep safe and precious. He became your best friend, always running off me that were trying to seduce you. You and he did everything together whether that was chasing cattle, going to festivals, or even going fishing.

Boy, he hated when his brothers came around trying to talk to you, like you were supposed to be his girl only but never asked you if that's how you felt too. Sometimes when you got sick Pharmer would make you stay in his room so he could watch over you and hold your hair back when you got sick. He'd walk you to school and come pick you up, let you touch all his guns, and teach you how to shoot. Pharmer was never one to sniff around girls but he sure sniffed around you and his family surely noticed it. They noticed the little things you'd do back, lean on him, talk sweet to him, the glitter in your eyes because you felt like you finally found a man who loved you for you and not your body.

Pharmer wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed either, he never went to school, couldn't tie a knot, and wasn't always the best at keeping up with his looks and grooming himself. So he let you do that stuff for him, cutting his hair, his nails, making sure he showers, brushes his teeth, and wears deodorant. Sometimes his family worried you would find someone who could actually do stuff themselves and properly take care of themselves but you understood Pharmer. You thought he was funny, his smile was beautiful, his eyes were perfect and you loved taking care of him because it made you feel needed. What would the future hold for you two?
