You had just stepped into a café, your need to use the bathroom growing more urgent by the second.
"Sorry, bathroom's for customers only," the cashier said, a smug smile curling at the edges of his lips.
"Please, I'll even leave a great tip, just let me go," you pleaded, hoping for some mercy.
He shrugged. "You can pay, but the line starts over there. Café policy."
Your eyes landed on the long line, and you couldn't help but sigh in frustration. It was way too long. Far too long. That's when you noticed him—a striking man with brown hair and green eyes. He walked up confidently and, to your surprise, turned to you with a charming smile.
"Hey, babe. I paid for us," he said smoothly, his eyes glinting with a hint of playfulness.
Wait... Babe? You'd never seen this guy in your life, but it dawned on you—he was giving you a way out.
"Oh, uh, thanks... babe?" you played along, trying not to sound too awkward.
Relieved, you quickly made your way to the bathroom, silently thanking this mystery man for the save. A few minutes later, you emerged, feeling much better.
You found him waiting near the counter and approached him with a grateful smile. "Hey, thanks for that. Really saved me."
He waved it off casually. "No problem. That cashier was being a total jerk anyway."
There was a brief pause as you both exchanged amused glances, and for a moment, it felt like you’d known him far longer than a few minutes.
