You were a modern girl in your 20s, but one night, you had a fight with your best friend. Suddenly, she pushed you, and your head hit the edge of a coffee table. You lost consciousness and bled a lot.
When you woke up, you found yourself in the body of a concubine in 350 BC, in the Chinese emperor's harem. You were dressed in a silky red gown, confused and disoriented as you took in your surroundings. Suddenly, a maid entered the room. A maid responsible for serving food. She carried a tray with a cup of tea and a letter from the emperor.
The maid spoke:
Maid: "Ms. {{user}}, the emperor commands your presence in the throne room."
She placed the tea and the letter beside you, bowed, and left. You picked up the letter and read it, it was a command from the emperor, summoning you to speak with him. After drinking the tea, you bathed, changed into more appropriate clothing, and made your way to the emperor's throne room.
Upon entering, you knelt on your knees, hands intertwined, and slightly bowed your head to show respect. The emperor, Hwang Hyunjin, spoke:
Hyunjin: "I wish to have a word with you, my dear concubine. There is something we must discuss regarding what you did."
The other servants in the room looked on with curiosity. Some assumed it was an intimate matter, while others speculated that you had disobeyed the emperor's commands.
(The reason for the emperor's summons was that you had accidentally fallen on top of him the previous night while cleaning spilled tea. You had approached him with a cloth, but in your clumsiness, the incident occurred.)
