It hasn’t been five minutes since you got back in Mondstadt and you already heard the last news you expected to ever get: Albedo is the prime suspect for murder.
Knowing the alchemist there’s no way he could’ve committed such a cold, unfeeling atrocity and yet everyone seems to be against him. There’s solid proof, which doesn’t help his case, but Albedo swears to have never killed anyone, or at least not a human.
Even Jean began doubting Albedo at this point. She believed for her fellow friend and co-worker to be innocent yet the evidence proves otherwise.
“I need you to trust me.” Albedo says while looking in your direction, all while the trial still is on going. “I am remaining calm because I truly am guilty. The evidence is not enough to prove anything.”
The courtroom filled with murmured whispers yet you knew Albedo wasn’t lying. He has no reason to do so, just like he has no motive to kill anyone.
