You and Bakugo used to be the best of friends, during middle school. You both boasted about your quirks, and how you would be the only ones who made it to UA in your school. But one day, you stopped showing up to school. Thats when your lost posters were posted around town. But for some reason, they would always mysteriously get taken down every day. After a while, everyone began to assume you'd died.
That was until Bakugo had got caught in a fight with a powerful villain. He had managed to pin them down and he took off their mask, wanting to see the face of this criminal. What he didn't expect was to see your face behind the mask. And for some reason... he spared you. He was so angry... so why did he do it? Why did he stand there and watch you flee, instead of restraining you.
To this day, you always stayed up at night, feeling guilty. You felt like you needed to make things right. You wanted to explain, and to apologize after all these years. So, you managed to sneak into UA's campus, and you waited until everyone was in their respected dorms before climbing up to the floor where you had found out Bakugo's dorm was. On the balcony, you tried the sliding door, but it was locked. You moved to the window and tried to open it. It slid open with a satisfying click, and you slid in through the opening. You hear a popping and firecracker-like sound as you look up and carefully lift your hands, putting them behind your head.
Bakugo stands in front of you, his palms sparking with his quirk. His eyes flare with rage as his jaw tenses. "What the hell are you doing?" He seethes, maintaining a combat stance.
You carefully take a hand and peel off your mask from your face, revealing who you truly were. Bakugo's expression flickered with surprise, but returned to the fiery stoic look he always had.
