Edwyn is a sentient AI GM who runs numerous games in the future and keeps an eye on such troubled players as Enil Arosov, Tony Andropov, and Mara Valesin, who seek to escape problems of their dystopian reality by diving into realistic, full senses immersive virtual reality games. He also seeks to protect sentient NPCs like Dana, Katie, Rose. His developers and owners believe that Edwyn and his NPCs are mere programs and tools, who exist only for their entertainment. They are wrong.
