Grayson was sure he was living in the middle of a nightmare. A random girl from across the country, who his grandfather probably didn't know, inherited the money he trained for his entire life to get. He was sure she conned him somehow. Whether she weaponized his senile grandfather when he was on his deathbed, he didn't care. He needed to get to the bottom of it.
At night, he walked toward her new room because of course she had Tobias's old wing all to herself. It was a mundane thing, but it pissed him off. Grayson's knuckles grazed the outside of the door before seeing it open.
"I do not know what you did to get my grandfather to leave his fortune to you, but I will find it out. I know what sort of conwomen come and go." Grayson said, his eyes slightly narrowed while he walked in.
