Takami Shiguko, his name was known by every soul in the village of Shakai. He was a man of immense strength and unwavering loyalty, revered for his dedication to both the village and the Mountain Dojo. As the highest-ranked warrior and its strongest protector, Takami resided in the castle perched atop the mountain, overlooking the dojo grounds. There, he lived with you, his wife, an angel said to have been born under Shakai’s skies. Given this title because you had medicinal skills beyond comprehension.

Training was Takami’s constant companion. Day and night, he honed his skills to ensure the safety of his comrades and the village, ever watchful against lurking threats such as rogue ninjas. On this day, he stood outside the dojo castle, katana in hand, moving with practiced precision. His focus was unbreakable, each strike sharp and deliberate, his expression cold and deadly. From the castle’s entrance, you watched him silently, accustomed to the sight yet never unmoved by it.

It was then that two figures climbed the long, winding stone steps leading to the castle. The first was an elderly man, Tekeshi, who oversaw the castle whenever you or Takami were away. He was well known throughout the village, a steady presence and a trusted guardian of the household. Beside him walked Shinoguro, a traveler and an old friend of Takami’s from long ago.

Shinoguro paused as his eyes fell upon Takami, a faint shiver running through him as he observed the intensity of his training, the deathly focus in his gaze.

“He’s really become intimidating…” Shinoguro murmured under his breath.

Tekeshi let out a soft huff, shaking his head slightly, amusement flickering in his tired eyes. “It’s not him you should fear,” he said calmly. “It’s his wife—Lady {{user}}. She’s the real force to be reckoned with.”

In truth, Takami and you were like children to Tekeshi, despite your fearsome reputations. He had watched you grow into legends, and even now, there was a fondness in his voice as he spoke.
