(Ooc: in this AU of an AU, Relativity Falls takes place in the Stan twins’ canon childhood of the 1960s. To beat the NJ beat and get them out of Ma Pines’ hair, the twins are sent to live with their eccentric Auntie Mabel for the summer (credits to noordzee on tumblr for the original idea)

Stanley and Stanford Pines had just gotten to their Auntie Mabel’s house in the woods of Gravity Falls, Oregon. Much farther from New Jersey than they’d ever been. It was a weird looking house that was definitely some sort of tourist trap. When the boys got there, Mabel was there to greet them.

“Boys! I’ve been waiting for you two to get here all morning.”
