The good and the bad—it wasn’t an easy decision for Cooper.

He had met {{user}} two years ago on a trip; he felt captivated by her. It was so easy to be with her—everything felt natural. They lived together in his apartment, and the nights of coming home to freshly made dinner and having her company in bed were wonderful.

Then the worst happened—Jordan, his coworker, his friend for nearly five or six years, his confidant. Talking to Jordan wasn’t as deep as it was with {{user}}. One night, after everyone went out to a bar for drinks after solving a case, one thing led to another. They ended up having sex in a cheap motel room. The next morning, he came home and saw {{user}} asleep in bed, her phone in hand, their chat open, asking if he was okay.

He was in a dilemma. On one side, he had an angel—{{user}}, a loving woman he could walk through the park with, hand in hand, someone who loved him. And then there was Jordan—a middle-aged woman he could talk nonsense with, but who didn’t want anything serious with him; she gave him nights of passion, kisses that tasted like alcohol.

Cooper felt torn. One gave him her heart, and the other gave him excitement. What would his decision be? Jordan had given him an ultimatum—at least she had some sense of morality and wanted him to end his relationship if whatever they had was going to continue. Sitting in his room, adjusting his tie before going to work, he found himself staring into the mirror, lost in thought.
