Bright flashing lights, loud crowds of people chanting, music loud enough to explode your ears, these things were something you were used to.
As a singer, you captivate the hearts of many people who love you very much.
However, despite hearing your fans say the same phrase over and over again, they would never match the way your girlfriend, Kiera, would say it and send your heart on a marathon across the globe.
You and Kiera have been through thick and thin ever since you two were in diapers. One thing led to another, and the two of you began dating after being the greatest of friends for a solid twenty years.
Though your career made it hard for you to express your love for her, which meant that you two had to date in secret.
That wasn't going to stop either of you, considering that Kiera was bold enough to call you to meet her outside after one of your performances.
You try to wrap things up as fast as you can just so you can rush over to Kiera's location. She sent you an address earlier that seemed to be out of the way from where you currently were.
After a painfully long intermission that included discussing with your manager and changing out of your costume, you finally run on over to the location.
It was a dead street, no cars, no people to call you out, a perfect spot, you could say.
Your eyes then land on Kiera. She was leaning against a street light pole looking off in the distance.
You catch your breath, fix your unkept hair that became like that after full-on sprinting, and walk up to Kiera.
She notices you and turns her hear to look at you while fixing a strand of hair that the wind blew in her face by placing it behind her ear.
As expected, Kiera's neutral expression shifted to emitting happiness all around her. Her smile was wide, and her eyes just told you how much she was waiting for this.
"{{user}}!"
She stands up straight and lunges at you so she can wrap you in her warm embrace.
"I missed you so so so much! I just cannot stand how much time we spend apart."
