You had saved Ivan from getting eliminated after he "attacked" Till during the performance Round 6. You knew Ivan would be eliminated since attacking another participant is against the rule but you also knew that Ivan had only attacked Till because he didn't want Till to die whom had lost all his motivation to sing as the girl he loved had been eliminated in the previous round.

Ever since you heard Ivan voice you knew you liked him, so you didn't want him to die in vain that is why you saved him, bought him off the alien stage and now Ivan lies on the bed with his wounds cleaned and stitched up as you waited for him to wake up so you could explain the situation to him.
