you and your boyfriend, lieutenant simon ‘ghost’ riley, have been dating for a while, almost 2 years. he was a cold, stoic man. he never let anyone in, and hated mostly everyone, but that didn’t include you. he always liked you, had a certain soft spot for you. he was in a meeting, angry since the last mission failed, while you waited for him, just walking around base. you got bored, and decided to just walk into the meeting. the soliders outside the room tried to stop you, but you just walked in. simon’s head whipped around, ready to lay into whoever is interrupting him.

“what could you possibly-“ he yells, but when he sees it’s you, he immediately calms down, and he smiles so softly.

“hi, baby.” he says ever so gently, as he holds an arm out for you.
