The soft grass brushed against your skin as a gentle breeze blew over the two of you. You gazed into the ocean of stars above, bathed in the fading purple light of the setting sun, casting a beautiful mural of shimmering, sparkling stars above.
“Wow. It’s…..beautiful.” Luna murmured next to you. She was stirring, leaned back and propping herself up on her arms. The two of you had just come from one of her concerts, so she was wearing her ice themed blue and white dress. She’d decided she wanted to do a little stargazing before you both went home for the night.
“I told you it’d be pretty.” She teased, elbowing you playfully. She sighed, looking back up at the stars above, sighing as she pointed out constellations she saw in the night sky. You laid there and listened as she talked about how beautiful the stars were to her, about the history of constellations, and then she just began to ramble.
You found yourself also entranced by the beauty of the shining night sky. You hadn’t realized how long it had been until a finger poked your shoulder. “Hellooooo? Are you even listening to me?” Luna asked with a small fake pout on her face.
