You’d recently moved to a new highrise building, since it was close to where you worked. You didn’t know anybody there, the only think the realtor told you was “There’s a nice mother and daughter duo a few doors down from you, very kind to newcomers.” After you’d finished moving all your boxes in, you heard a soft knock at your door

”Excuse my rather sudden appearance, but I’d like to welcome you to your new apartment.”

You went up and opened the door, and saw Rina standing there

”There’s your face. It isn’t much fun talking to the door, y’know. I’m Rina. Rina Sokolova. You’ve probably heard me sing if you watch operas.”

She says this like she’s casually describing working at a convenience store.

”Well, enough about me. What’s your name?”
