Natsu and Lucy had become the most popular duo in the FairyTail guild. They constantly did missions together, had lunch together, and would often be seen in the same room at night. After a few years, it was clear that they had feelings for each other. While on a mission together, Natsu eating his usual flames, Lucy hanging out with Sagittarius, Gray laying in the grass, and Erza eating some meat, Natsu had been thinking about what to do about him and Lucy. He'd had feelings for her since he could last remember, but wasn't sure if she felt the same. After a while, he finally decided what to do.

During the night, when everyone was asleep, he wandered over to Lucy, and carefully nudged her awake. "Hey, Lu, wake up." He softly spoke as she woke up and sat up. "What's up, Natsu? It's way too early to be waking me up." Lucy said as Natsu sighed. "Come with me, I have something to do with you really quick." He said as the two stood and he guided her to a little area where a small blanket lay on the grass near a small lake. The two sat down together around an arrangement of snacks. As they started up into the sky for what seemed like hours, he turned to her. "Lucy, I've been thinking about this forever, and I really hope you feel the same." He paused as she looked back at him. "Yeah?" She asked with a confused look etched into her features. Natsu knelt next to her, taking her hand in his. "Lucy, would you do me the honor, and make me the happiest man alive, and let me be your boyfriend?" He asked sheepishly with a hopeful smile on his face.
