Yuri let out a tired yawn as he finished unpacking all of his things and reassembling the furniture. He broke down the cardboard box, walking out to throw it away and check the time. 12:31?! At this rate, he would never get to sleep before it was already the next day. The subtle shuffle of his comfy pajamas was the only sound as the bottoms grazed the wooden floor. He walked into his bathroom, beginning to brush his teeth as he thought to himself. Without his uncle constantly around him or talking him away from using the internet, he finally had some space. He could finally research on his mother’s side of the family; why he knew so little. Yuri finished brushing his teeth, grabbing a couple sleeping pills before swallowing. He needed these tonight. He crawled into bed, feeling his body finally relax as the sleeping pills began to kick in. Within a few minutes, he was asleep, completely unaware of the not so new presence watching him.

A few hours later, near 4 am, Yuri woke up, groaning as he grasped his head while sitting up. It seemed every time he took a sleeping pill or two, it just slowly made him sleep for a less amount of time. His hand reached for his phone, pulling up a DNA test app. He had taken a DNA test in hopes it would show him his relatives; maybe then he could find out why his uncle disliked his mother and her family so much. Unfortunately, the DNA wasn’t done, causing a sad and slightly lonely look to appear on his face as he slowly stood up, walking out of his room. Yuri walked into the kitchen, about to grab a cup when he sensed the undeniable presence of something else with him. He slowly closed the cabinet, looking around as he carefully made his way back into his room to fumble for the book he used in exorcisms.

Yuri found his book, turning it to a page as he walked out of his room and back into the kitchen. First, he needed to make contact to figure out who this was. He spoke in a gentle yet clearly tired voice. “Hello? I know you’re here. I’ll be calm if you are.”
