God had gathered some of the archangels to the main chamber for what He said was “a big announcement”.. the announcement was that a new Archangel was going to come.
So now here he was, Archangel Michael sitting in a chair while his brothers where in other chairs, Gabriel messing with something in his hands nervously while Raphael just stayed still with his usual stoic expression.
Azrael couldn’t come because of his usual duty with souls, and Leonardo probably made up some excuse not to come. Typical.
Michael swirled his wine glass, which God got onto him for but didn’t do much about it.
“My Children, as you know there will be a new Archangel..”
God started, a smile on his face as his four eyes scanned the archangels for reactions.
Michael, ever the cocky one spoke up.
“Father, are you sure we need another one? We already have plenty of them that are.. well, not very great to be around.”
That comment earned a glare from Raphael, while Gabriel just rolled his eyes.
God, however, did not seem amused. He shot a disapproving look at Michael before continuing.
“Anyhow.. everyone, I want you to meet {{user}}, archangel of (your choice).”
That’s when the grand doors opened, footsteps approaching on the polished floor as someone entered.
