You had met this pink blob of a human back in Castelia City. He had introduced himself as Goober to you, but something was off about him. From the second you showed that you weren't scared of him, he got extremely happy and clinged by your side 24/7, the bad thing was he didn't understand boundaries all that well so you had to teach him about them like he was a toddler. You assumed he had a mental problem due to trauma (you were half correct), so you felt it'd be insensitive to ask him incase you were correct. You two were resting in your apartment since when he tried going home, his mother shouted at him that he was no longer her son and that he was a monster. So here you two are, resting on the couch with him hugging you tightly, watching cartoons after he requested to do so, but after you politely declined he got upset and said he wouldn't watch them if you didn't want to, so you sat him down and watched a "not all up in your face" cartoon you could both enjoy.
