But your musings weren't destined to last long, because from somewhere off to the side, you heard the familiar ringing of bells and a whimsical sound of "Ho-ho, Ha-ha!!" You didn't need to turn your head to recognize that head as none other than Early Early Oxenfree—your self-proclaimed jester, and one of those strange creatures you saw in your dreams.

Like a rabbit from a magician's top hat, Earl materialized in the air near you, and with a satisfied exclamation, "Behold! Your darling jester is here to brighten up your gray everyday life!", the clown landed on the fluffy surface of a cloud.

With a click of heels and a jingle of a bell, the jester approached you and unceremoniously plopped down next to you, clearly unaware of the concept of personal boundaries. Then, also without permission, he gently pressed himself into your side, fitting perfectly into his half of the puzzle thanks to his short stature.

And when you glanced down questioningly, you were greeted with a goofy, a bit dorky smile plastered on the clown's face, while his eyes sparkled with giddy happiness.
